Software Available:

Easy English 

The Canadian developed Easy English is available in the language lab at Strawberry Hill Library and now in the electronic classrooms at Guildford, Semiahmoo and Strawberry Hill. English Easy is designed to develop and to improve listening and reading skills and each includes a simple tutorial available in English, Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin to help learners to become familiar with the structure of the software.

English Easy Consonants and English Vowels -- These programs are designed to help improve learners' English pronunciation and pattern recognition skills. Each chapter concentrates on one specific consonant / vowel sound and is divided into 4 sections: Example Words, Multiple Choice Questions, Bonus Exercises and Advanced Exercises.

English Easy Grammar -- This program is designed to help improve learners' English sentence pattern recognition skills. It has 10 chapters and each chapter concentrates on one specific area of sentence pattern.

English Easy Conversation -- This program consists of interactive conversations, pronunciation and grammatical structures. The conversations include colloquial phrases to familiarize users with spoken Canadian English. Learners can replay these conversations as needed.

Pronunciation Power -- This program is designed for learners of all ages to speak clear and understandable English. The interactive and exciting exercises help users to improve their English pronunciation immediately.

TOEFL Mastery -- This is available through the Learning Express Database on our website under Databases A to Z . Users get extensive practice with the question types and format of the TOEFL test. These practices increase users' confidence and comfort level when taking the actual tests.
